Yaron is CEO and one of the founders of FuGen. He is a true entrepreneur, bringing over 14 years of experience in construction, financing and management of renewable energy projects. In 2008, Yaron founded a development company for biogas in Italy and in 2009 he started an asset management company for the development and construction of utility-scale solar projects across Europe. As part of that venture he carried out construction and full scope O&M for a portfolio of 11 solar projects. Yaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Lorenzo is one of the founders of FuGen. In addition to managing legal matters, Lorenzo’s focus is on growing our portfolio through acquisitions, partnerships and financing. Lorenzo has been practicing as an energy transaction lawyer for over 15 years and has vast experience in contract negotiation, due diligence, and the financing of renewable energy projects; he brings to FuGen an extensive financial network and vast know-how in M&A transactions. Lorenzo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s in Financial Law from the Catholic University in Milan.
As CFO David is responsible for all finance related matters such as accounting, controlling, financing, bank relationships and hedging activities. David joined FuGen in November 2020 and brings 17 years of experience from Group Treasury functions in listed energy intensive industrial companies. He started working with financing and hedging activities of wind farms already in 2008. Prior to joining FuGen, David worked seven years at Swedish wind power asset owner and developer Vindin, both as CFO and CEO. David holds a BSc in Economics from Umeå School of Business and Economics.
Linda joined FuGen in 2021, with a focus on the growth and development of our business. She brings over a decade of experience from across the international energy industry, initially gaining broad experience as a management consultant before focusing solely on wind power. Linda has held various positions within Vattenfall’s (Swedish Utility) wind business, from project development and M&A, through to Head of Asset Management Onshore. Linda holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
Jennie joined FuGen in January 2022 and is responsible for all of our project development activities. Jennie brings over fifteen years of experience in the wind industry with a focus on wind development and consulting. Most recently she worked as Head of Project Development at Arise, a leading Swedish wind power developer. She started her career as a wind research engineer at the turbine manufacturer Vestas before building her career in wind power consultancy.
Jack joined us in 2020 and manages various projects across our business and asset portfolio. Prior to FuGen, Jack gained experience across the international energy industry by providing technical advisory services to due diligence and project finance processes on major energy infrastructure assets, as well as working at a start-up focused on optimising the performance of operational wind turbines. Jack holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialised in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Southampton and is currently undertaking a part-time MBA at Imperial College London.
Andreas focuses mainly on business and project development, which includes scouting for areas suitable for energy production, finding local partners and managing projects for hydrogen development. Andreas has 30 years of experience from industrial engineering in heavy industries such as pulp and paper. In 2014 he was appointed as the CEO of Kalix Vind, which FuGen acquired in 2017 and that was when Andreas joined the company. With his technical background, he also works with operational issues for our wind farms and acts as site manager Axelsvik wind farm in Kalix. Andreas is a member of the board of FuGen Energi AB.
Fabio joined FuGen in September 2021 as a Junior Project Engineer working with wind and hydrogen development projects. He attained his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) focusing on renewable energy technologies, and has work experience in power electronics.
Gusten joined FuGen in December 2021 as Transaction Manager and works mainly with M&A and business development related projects. He has over five years of M&A experience, first at Deloitte and most recently with OX2, a leading European wind power developer. He has worked on multiple renewable energy asset transactions, bringing sector specific know-how and experience to the company. Gusten holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg.
FuGen’s close partners and advisory board members
Tord is the general manager of our Tormoseröd, Fjällboheden and Axelsvik wind farms. He has been working in the wind industry since 2006 when he joined the Vestas in Sweden as head of sales in the Nordic region. He was later appointed advisor for Gamesa in Sweden and facilitated Gamesa’s market entry into Sweden. Tord brings broad experience and a network from across the industry. Among other things, he has managed a portfolio of seven wind farms on behalf of various owners such as Power Wind Partners and EnBW.
Christer supports the development activities of FuGen in northern Sweden. He has a vast knowledge in forestry as well as extensive experience in developing wind farms and signing land leases in both Sweden and Finland. With his background he brings the local perspective to our development activities including the importance of colaborating with local actors and stakeholders.
Erik has extensive experience in local business development, especially from his time at the Piteå municipality. Among other things, he was heavily involved in the development of one of Europe’s largest wind farms, Markbygden. He supports FuGen in its development activities in northern Sweden, managing several important local relationships.
Matthias is an energy expert and has been involved in the build up of the Swedish wind industry since its early days. He was one of the founders of the Swedish Wind Energy Association and served as its CEO for seven years. Matthias has been a board member in a number of wind power companies such as OX2 and PWP. He has been the chairman of the board of the Swedish Wind Power Technology Center and a board member of the European Wind Energy Association. Matthias was one of the founding partners of FuGen. Today he is a senior advisor, contributing to the success of the company.
Jeanette is an entrepreneur within the wind energy industry and has held various roles within business development, project development and as the sales manager for Vestas Northern Europe. On top of this she has been the chairman of the Swedish Wind Power Association for seven years. She brings more than 20 years of experience to FuGen as a member of the advisory board.
Mikael has vast experience from the wind energy industry in various roles mainly with focus on project development and wind resource assessment. He provides valuable insights and advice as a member of the advisory board of FuGen.
